Where chocolate lovers unite! Too bad no Choki-Choki.

Enak sekali! Adik gemari?

Oh yea, The Pussycat Dolls made a special appearance as well. You should see their bodyguards.
Weekend's just around the corner! Have a good one people!

Sa-wa-dee-kap! at Krabi - Day 2 - Part 1
If you've missed Day 1, read it here, on your toes,
Day 2 came so soon, yesterday felt like a ghost,
Hope you enjoy these poems, lest you'll see all in prose.

Had my breakfast at this place - Mangosteen,
Standard eatery, not much to be seen,
Sausages, eggs, bacon, tea and some beans,
Sorry if my picture's a tad dull on your screen.

We headed out after that, and off to the sea,
Island hopping day - our hearts went "Waaa" and "Whee",
"The sun was out, the day looks good, well, hopefully,"
We signed these forms, in case things get nasty.

On the boat, as it floats, things could be a bore,
Armed with 3 SLRs, we started to camwhore,
Wind in our face, hair's a mess, we shout and roar,
As we journeyed to the center, in the middle, at the core.

Tub Islands was where the anchor was dropped,
Consisting of 3 small islands, "Easy task", we thought,
Joint by narrow sand bars, the low tide has us robbed,
Cause on the way back, the water was so high, we were shocked.

Hanged a bit and swam a bit, the water was clear,
KY even donned his boots, but missing a spear,
Kim had goggles she bought as her visual gear,
Kelz's camera died too, her photos are till here.

Time was up, the tide was high, we had to flee,
In fear of the rising waters and Andy's Nikon D (200),
Helped to carry some as we pushed our way in the sea,
Don't we all look like some kind of refugees?

Off we go, headed East, sunnies on our heads,
Boatman stopped, cautioned us with the color red,
"Chicken Island", he pointed, "Take picture!", he said,
'Snap!' 'Snap!' we went, many photos that we made.

Snorkeled at Si Island, took about an hour or so,
Got a chance to see some fish, and corals that glow,
It was Kelz's first time at it, why? I don't know,
Oh wait, she's afraid, but down she went - what a show!

Lunch time came, we stopped by, at Poda island,
Thai Fried Rice was served, sun was hot, it could burn,
Simple food, at least there's food, our tummies yearn,
Even Andy's D200 rested, but nice pictures it churned.

Back on the boat, we were served pineapple wine,
Kim gave me hers, I drank it, it was fine,
Fruits were given as desserts, at no cost, not a dime,
KY soon went berserk (or was he high?), about time!

Lady God Cave Island was our next island stop,
Many foreigners here, all around the clock,
On the beach, we started to pose and mock,
We even saw people jumping off a big rock.

At the cave, was a man and many replica _____,
Many people gathered round to hear him speak,
Accessories were even sold, go ahead, take your pick,
Day 2 - Part 1 ends here, come back soon! Clickety-click!

When The Bizarre Strikes
Abundant time we have been told to stay away from high radio waves or mobile frequencies if possible as it may harm our health, what more if WiMAX is running vastly in the urban shell?
After being concerned myself, I decided to do a little searching on the internet and to my reprieve I was told and informed that the service of upcoming WiMAX poses no hazard to our wellbeing.
Sources such as Intel’s Mobiliti guru Sean Maloney has assured that the connection coming from WiMAX will be safe and sound so far.
Click to read more regarding this matter *click*
So it is a good effect after all socially and in health wise.
Walking past McD’s the other day ; there were groups of people sitting around with their fancy laptops.
I could pretty much envision just how many vacant café’s or any other bistro’s that provides complimentary Wi-Fi service if WiMAX were to be publicly launched and used. Vanished will be the days where we have to battle for a comfortable spot to surf online leisurely.
With WiMAX being available just about anywhere (hopefully), don’t be surprise to see people now trying to go online with their portable technology gadget at the park or at any available power outlet along buildings and inner walls.
Which brings me to another concern, WiMAX could increase the rates of loiters around town.
It is appalling enough that we have people that lepak on stairs or the side of a curb nearby a mall that do nothing at all.
If given being able to online at the same time, those curb streets can start charging for rental as I bet those loiterers would not budge an inch no longer.
I can just picture how I am able to be as transportable as I can ever be in my time.
At anytime I feel bored stiff I could just pop out my laptop or my mobile to go online.
I wouldn’t have to fret about finding a good Wi-Fi connection speed.
I can perhaps even meet up randomly with my peers if I was around the area they were in and it was all because I could surf online spontaneously.
School has been trying to implement our students to be more computer savvy which explains the constant building of computer labs in schools.
The only problem that our government constantly face is the lack of space and funds as well to provide for students a chance to use the computer and to learn about the internet.
Nonetheless, with WiMAX service, the students are able to go online and discover about it even in their own classrooms without having to be shifted to a specific area like a computer lab! Of course, these are all ideals.
I can just foretell our potential government schools be filled with computers in each classroom. But perhaps in light years to come.
Everyone seems to be dying to check out these WiMAX features.
I just hope with the maintenance that has been guaranteed (here's to hoping), it wouldn’t end up like our broadband service.
The likelihood of everyone jumping on the bandwagon at the same time, no surprises if the speed actually slows down.
Let’s hope I’ll be mistaken.
I have a pal who is currently residing abroad and due to the diverse time zone, it is tricky for me to stay up late to chat.
I can’t be constantly driving out to the nearest café to continue my chatting and just how long can my tooshie last in on seating?
At least with WiMAX around, I don’t have to lose sleep about not being able to go online in the wee hours of the morning without having to step out my room even if my broadband so happens to act all bizarre on me.
Now that, I like.

Chasing Amy

We gathered here for lunch. Food was so-so only but its the company that matters.

This is Amy resembling my smile. I still can't believe this other girl actually blogged about my smile.

Sometimes it takes about half an hour for us before we start ordering. We are crazy like that.

Amy received a little something from us and was quick to pose with it.

Although you are off to a land far far away, we'll always be here for you Amy. Just remember our souvenirs! :P

The pass was in the form of a record. Cool, eh? Picture taken with Aaron's phone.

Met KY who came along with Ringo. Somehow, KY reminds me of Thom Yorke of Radiohead in this picture.

Machi all hyper and giving out a great performance that night.

Met Nasri who recognized me from my video entry and Sherve who's smile can blow you away.

Flo Rida was the main act of the night. Had the crowd going crazy. Though a bit 'potong' when he did 'Low'.

At the entrance posing for his camera. Thanks man!

Sa-wa-dee-kap! at Krabi - Part #1
I went home and did my preparation,
As Thailand was my next destination,
Here I come, yee-haa! - a mid-year vacation!

Thanks to Nicole who invited me,
We met up with See Tho, after arriving shortly,
And snapping photos he went, our photographer, Andy.

They were great company, I cannot deny,
Though in the beginning I was a bit shy,
But it became better with them as the days went by.

You'd know why he seems more like a friend,
Cause he'd do the best that he can,
To show you a side you've never seen in Thailand.

With our growling tummies, we moved from being idle,
Loading our bags, onto the van and into our cradles,
Anticipating what's next, I even managed to doodle,
As we arrived at 'Rain House' and had the most awesome duck noodle.

After lunch, we headed to Klong Thom Hot Springs,
A short 15 minutes walk in, I saw KY undressing,
Kim did the same, it was so tempting, (the hot springs I meant)
Yes, it was indeed - the 'bathtubs', made me feel like a Thai King.

Beneath these bathtubs, was a river, gently flowing,
The water down there was cold, I was told, hmmm, interesting,
After playing king for about 20 minutes, actually, more like soaking,
I made my way down

Next up, we continued our journey to Krabi town,
But we stopped for a while, met the 'king', but without his crown,
As Malaysians who love the fruit, we smiled, and did not frown,
"Yummy", "Syiok", "Best", "Sedap" - was the sound.

Stopping at Krabi market, a lot to see,
From 'look choob' to petai, one can even do kenduri,
It was a colorful and a fragrant experience for us, saya pasti,
As my mouth watered, at these - my tummy sang with glee.

It was dinner time, in the jungle, memang relax,
The food was good, ngam ngam for 7 pax,
I'm sure everyone enjoyed it to the max.

After dinner, we needed the sleep that we lack,
Checking in to Sheraton Krabi, we all begin to unpack,
Desserts were served, as a midnight snack,
Day 1 ended, stay tuned and I'll be right back!

Like Finally
We wanted to spend time with each other. We couldn't get enough of each other's antics and stories. We were already missing what we think we would be missing if we were to go home. We wanted the make the occasion memorable and worthwhile. We wanted more.
And so more was what we got ourselves into. More food that is. And oh, of course, more laughter, spastic moments and good memories all around. What an awesome day it was. Thank you guys.

Had steamboat at this place located along Jalan Genting Klang. Still preferred the one here.

Aaron & Kelz.

Stacked and ready to go.

Before I shaved my head : Me & MaeMae

Sharing among each other the dramatic moments of our lives.

After finishing the first round of combo plates, we ordered more. Amy was very hungry that night.

Going back to the 80s, we rekindled those times where pencils (above) and the like were all the hype.

Moving onto more personal topics, Pam was excited and even shared that she liked it 'hard'.

Nadia layaning and learning from the pro.

We were the noisiest table that night. Can't help laughing at the most stupidest things we say to one another.

The day finally ended when we laughed so much, we couldn't eat anymore. But the guys managed to sapu all of it.

The presents that I received from my fellow DGMBians. Thank you guys for everything!

Speed Kills But This Thrills?
In fact, I would say it has gotten most people excited and curious and most of them are dying to try the service out.
Hooked on the latest news of the up and coming WiMAX service provider that is coming our way, we were told over and over that it is suppose to be the next best thing that internet has ever seen and also we would be extremely beneficial for all of us.
Comparing it with the current broadband service that I am using, I do wonder about its service that WiMAX will be providing for all of us.
What is important to you when you get a broadband service provider?
What do you actually seek for?
Words that comes to mind would be speed, reliability, good customer service and last but not least most importantly the price!
Just how much are we actually willing to pay out of our pockets for a good reliable efficient speed of internet that we constantly use around the clock?
Are you willing to pay any price as long as the internet gives you no problem and you are hassle-free?
Is a thought isn’t it?
With today’s broadband internet service that we are currently enjoying in pleasure and also at times frustration, most of us are more than okay to pay the price below RM100 for the

How would the price be like if WiMAX were to come up with a faster speed than the one we are using?
Some disagreed claiming that, speed doesn’t matter as long as there is dependability in their internet service.
I mean, if the speed was as fast as a torpedo however unreliable, just what good does it do?
However, technology being technology would never be perfect because it was made by humans and humans are certainly far from that.
We need to know that we have a first-rate customer service (unlikely here , but here's to hoping) that we can rely on that genuinely wants to help us solve our problems and not just wanting us to upgrade and pay more constantly.
Well these are just my humble two cents worth and also some from my friends.
But truthfully, how about the rest of you out there?
What is more of an importance to you?

The Most Sacreligious Game Ever?
Well, almost. Check out some screenshots from it :

The opening title comes with brass knuckles. Funny how you should 'Open' rather than 'Start' the game.

Although not much to choose from, one would be eager to use some of the characters to see their moves.

After choosing a character, one can view controls to master the moves before fighting. Rain of frogs, anyone?

In Arcade (or Practice) mode, one can select Levels as well to fight in. Wonder what Hell looks like?

In Hell, Noah launches a stampede against Satan. The best looking super power in this game, IMHO.

Let's rewind a little to the Garden of Eden, Moses' Burning Bush defeats Eve's Forbidden Fruit Throw.

You knew this was coming. The ultimate battle of all time. But we already know who won, right?
Note : Blasphemous garbage, signs of the days we are living in or whatever you may call it, please do not hold me responsible should you deviate from your current beliefs. This is just a game and it is solely for entertainment purposes. You will get bored of it after some time. Trust me, you will.

We Are Crazy Like That

Sempat berposing from across the street.

Posing maut at a place we decided not to hang.

Everyone's favorite dessert on a hot sunny day. Maybe not all.

Grandma stories were shared every now and then.

Aaron & David with their share.

The typical card game some of us would play to pass time.

Joshua, Amy, Kelz, Mae & Pam enjoying theirs.

Stanley took forty winks due to tiredness from an early morning basketball game. Zzz.

XoXo.

The day did not end at ice cream. We gathered at another place for dinner. Yes, we are crazy like that.
Part #4 - Finale is coming right up!

Of Gifts & The Thoughts Behind It

One had to graduate after spending much time on the main course.

The very awesome birthday cupcakes brought by Amy. Love it!

"Lights out! Guerrilla radio!"

I was then assigned to get two items for free from any store of my choice. Got a free cuppa and...

...a 3D spectacles, which was given to Pam. Wonder what she saw in 3D? *tee hee*

Presents soon came from all four corners of the

We moved on to taking smaller group photos.

And finishing off our drinks before we adjourn to someplace else.

Of course, before leaving, we had the customary family photo.

Then we were off to...
Stay tuned! - Part #3 coming up next!

So much for saving cost when I had the sudden urge to take a breath of fresh air outside my house.
I glance at the mamak nearby; if only they had Wi-Fi there then I wouldn’t have needed to spend that much on coffee and food at Starbucks which was the only place that had Wi-Fi available.
It doesn’t help the fact that the connection level is rather low today, hence making me hungry and dehydrated easily as I sat there to wait for pages and things to load.
It just made me wanting to try out WiMAX that I mentioned formerly before.
Even with broadband at home, I have to compromise with other family members for the computer and then resorting to come out to finish up my work.
The main reason why I even got this laptop in the first place, it was for convenience to be turn on anywhere.
I currently have to shell out RM77 each month for broadband at home.
I wonder how much it would be for WiMAX as it gives me internet connection so vast and wide and anywhere.
Could it cost even more than broadband?
I much rather anticipate they would come out with a payment method in the form of a prepaid card just like how they do it overseas.
Not only is a prepaid card easier to keep tabs for myself, but isn’t it way easier?
I can just reload constantly whenever I need to use the internet without a hassle.
And it fits easily in my wallet.
What do you think?

Dawn Of A New Broad(er)band?
Being dependent on broadband at home, which if you ask me, it doesn't reach too many places and there are moments where you just need to get out of the house for a change of scenery.
Wi-Fi allows me to hang with my friends outside, having a good laugh and still enables me to go online. The only problem, the Wi-Fi access for hot spots are very small, so coverage is sparse.
Not forgetting, there's only so much my wallet can take constantly being in places such as Starbucks or McDonald's.
I need something that allows me to surf online at a high speed, wireless and of course broad coverage like the cell phone network.
I heard about WiMAX which gives me broadband Internet access through my handphone (I can really be online anytime now!) and gives me internet service literally anywhere I am.
Not just certain places like Wi-Fi but literally ANYWHERE.

A simple diagram on how WiMax works.
Interesting...

A Quarter Of A Century Egg

We gathered here for the celebration.

David, Josephine, Yatz & Stanley came early.

Half an hour later, the girls arrived all looking fabulous.

Everyone then started ordering.

Within minutes, our food arrived.

Served by none other than the butt kicker herself.

While eating and chatting away, Thomas shared that he liked it 'there' while Mae winked away.

Upcoming joker Randy secretly plotted future plans with basketball player Stanley & Joshua.

Mastermind Kelz was looking at how her plans unfolded while Li was enjoying the company.

What's an outing without David's antics? Spastic I tell ya.

White Ranger Hwei Ming, Pink Ranger Aaron and Purple

The DGMB BBQ Party - Part #2

Welcome to the club.

Played 'Mafia' and managed to escape one round of being identified. Woot!

After a few rounds, we watched a special video.

The video was so moving and touching, it moved many in ways unexplainable by science. Awesome.

Soon after, 'Taboo' was played and the game managed to bring out the best in the girls in terms of wordplay.

Some lost random card games while others continued chatting and chilling.

All good things must come to an end, eh? We gathered to take a group picture shortly before leaving.
Well, it was a fun, memorable and an enjoyable get-together. BBQ again, anyone?

The DGMB BBQ Party - Part #1

Got pit, can cook.

Will, June, Joshua, Michelle & Aaron.

The 3 Jens are Jentz (the dude), Hsu Jen (the face) & Jennihsurf (the hand).

Unsung hero of the day - He huffed and he puffed and he blew it all away.

Jimi Hendrix's "Fire" played in the background.

Marinated, skewered and barbecued - that's the way, aha aha, I like it.

By 6pm, most of the DGMBians and their invited guests were busy getting to know each other.

The beauties and the fork lover.

Spastic. Told you some of us think alike.

Nice pictures provider Hwei Ming & Estee Lauder finalist Nadia.

He got served.

Randomness.

Thank you guys for coming - Hope you all had fun!

After the BBQ, we gathered upstairs. More on that in Part Two!
